マーキンスのレンズプレートは、三脚座に取り付けて使用するレンズ用のプレートですが、PL-55は、カメラプレートとして使用する場合もあります。
レンズプレートにはいくつかのサイズがありますが、基本的には三脚座と同じくらいか少し長めのプレートをお勧めします。
カメラを装着した状態で重心を合わせる必要がありますが、三脚座の範囲内に収まる場合は同じくらいの長さのものでよいものの、範囲内に収まらない場合は、はみ出した分だけ長いプレートにされることをお勧めします。
重心合わせは安定した撮影のために重要なポイントですので、重心がどの辺にあるのか判断したうえでプレートをお選びください。
